Windows 98

About

Windows 98 was a popular operating system released by Microsoft in 1998. It was the successor to Windows 95 and included many new features, such as support for USB devices and Internet Explorer 4.0. Windows 98 also introduced the ability to hibernate a computer, which allows it to quickly resume from a low-power state. Additionally, it included Microsoft Plus!, a package of enhancements and additional features such as desktop themes and multimedia tools. Windows 98 was widely used on both home and business computers, and was succeeded by Windows 2000 in 2000.
