MS Paint

Microsoft Paint, also known as MS Paint or simply Paint, is a simple and easy-to-use graphics editing program that has been included with every version of the Microsoft Windows operating system since its inception. The program allows users to create and edit basic images using a variety of drawing tools, such as brushes, lines, shapes, and text.

One of the key features of MS Paint is its simplicity. The program has a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate, even for users who are new to graphics editing. The program includes a wide range of basic drawing tools that allow users to create and edit images with ease.

Another notable feature of MS Paint is its support for a variety of file formats. The program can save and open images in popular formats such as JPEG, PNG, and GIF, making it easy to share your creations with others. In addition, the program also allows users to import and export images from other graphics editing programs, providing even more flexibility and versatility.

One of the key benefits of MS Paint is its accessibility. Since the program is included with every version of Windows, it is available to virtually all computer users. This makes it a great option for individuals and businesses looking for a simple and cost-effective way to create and edit basic images.

In addition to its simplicity and accessibility, MS Paint is also highly customizable. The program includes a wide range of options and settings that allow users to customize the look and feel of their images. This includes options for adjusting the size and shape of drawing tools, changing the color and style of lines and shapes, and much more.

In July 2017, Microsoft added Paint to the list of deprecated Windows features and announced that it would become a free standalone application in the Microsoft Store, and also included a warning in the Paint application that it eventually won’t be installed by default. However, Paint continued to be included with Windows 10 in later builds, and eventually an update removed the deprecation warning from the application.
