There was something about this song that had just struck a chord with me when I first saw it and, even though it’s been over 2 decades since, I can still recall loving the video, the music, the design, the lyrics, and of course–Donna Lewis, yes, who I’d never heard of before–and will never again.
As a kid, this show would come on right around the same time our mustard yellow-trimmed dishwasher turned on, and I knew it was almost bedtime.

You never had to worry about anything. Life smelled like freshly baked cakes, and everything was refined as it’d been just created. The newness of it all would fill your days with unvarying excitement. Every door had a welcome mat and dreams were the only currency. That’s how old I am.
Did anyone else have a kitchen and food set like this and they would still set it up even in their teens?
Saw Army Of Darkness for the first time recently. I was a little too young in ’93 to enjoy it first time, great film!
