The Virtual Boy is a 32-bit tabletop portable video game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. Released in 1995, it was marketed as the first console capable of displaying stereoscopic “3D” graphics. Unfortunately it did not do well commercially, but was a fun attempt at early VR for some.

3 minutes of pure joy from Blink 182! The original was recorded in ’99, and would have qualified as 90s if it had been released just 3 weeks earlier. This wonderful cover was released during the height of lockdown, and while I was in hospital. NGL it made me so happy I was all choked up.

Street Fighter 2 – The game that singlehandedly revitalized a dying arcade industry… I remember seeing a newly released machine in a Burger King in 1991… Finding out the special moves by accident was just the coolest. Then it just became the hottest arcade game ever.
