Street Fighter 2 – The game that singlehandedly revitalized a dying arcade industry… I remember seeing a newly released machine in a Burger King in 1991… Finding out the special moves by accident was just the coolest. Then it just became the hottest arcade game ever.

I was in college in the late 90’s, and there was a dorm-wide argument as to who was the hottest woman in the world: Sarah Michelle Gellar or Jennifer Love Hewitt. Until The Faculty came out. Then it was a three-person debate.

I’d discovered Chris Isaak with “Wicked Game” and had fallen in love with the song but, had almost forgotten about him until the end of the decade. And then, Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut was about to come out–that song must’ve been the hottest thing on mtv at the time. ((( also, Casta :(… )))
