On This Day: Kurt Cobain of Nirvana died 26 years ago today in 1994 at the age of 27 and Layne Staley of Alice In Chains died 18 years ago today in 2002 at the age of 34. Both died on April 5, just 8 years apart. RIP Kurt and Layne.
