Remember this 90’s drug PSA? The song is stuck in my head decades later.
There was something about this song that had just struck a chord with me when I first saw it and, even though it’s been over 2 decades since, I can still recall loving the video, the music, the design, the lyrics, and of course–Donna Lewis, yes, who I’d never heard of before–and will never again.
I had the melody to the chorus of this song stuck in my head for over TWO DECADES. You cannot comprehend my elation upon rediscovering the song it was from.
Fresh Prince of Bel Air (1994) – “How come he didn’t want me, man?” This scene still tugs on my heart strings.
